Request Account Deletion
To request deletion of your Gulo account, email runwithgulo@gmail.com from the email address connected to your Gulo account. Use the subject line "Delete my Gulo account" and include your Gulo username or display name if available.
We may ask you to verify account ownership before deleting the account. Once verified, we will delete or de-identify account data that is no longer needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, enforce our terms, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or protect user safety.
Request Data Deletion
You can also request deletion of specific Gulo data without deleting your entire account. Email runwithgulo@gmail.com from the email address connected to your account and describe the data you want deleted, such as profile information, activity history, group data, chat data, or uploaded photos.
Connected Strava Data
If you connected Strava, you can disconnect Strava inside Gulo under Edit Profile > Connected services. Disconnecting revokes Gulo's authorization and deletes Gulo's cached Strava data. You can also revoke Gulo from your Strava account settings.
Data We May Retain
Some records may be retained when necessary for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, enforcing our Terms, or community safety. Examples may include reports, blocks, moderation records, safety records, and limited transaction or audit records.
